DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLAN?

For detailed nutrition guidance, I offer nutrition packages that can be added on to your training sessions or done on its own. I don't believe in "diets." Instead, I educate you on nutrition. I offer meal guidance plans to help those with busy schedules map out what to eat for the week that also includes recipes and a grocery list. The goal is to make nutrition intuitive and sustainable, not a crash diet.

WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

Depending on your goals, different equipment may be required.  I generally recommend a few sets of dumbbells (one that is around 3-5lbs, 10-15lbs and 20lbs+, as well as a few resistance bands and kettlebells or medicine balls). More advanced lifters should have a barbell weight set, especially if they don't intend on going to a full gym.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?

I am not the right fit for everyone which is why I always require a consultation. I don't do fad diets or crash workouts. I program using science, not what's trending in the fitness social media world. My goal is to not only help you reach your goals in a safe and effective manner, but also educate you along the way so that you can achieve autonomy in your workouts. Having a personal trainer for life isn't realistic and I want you to be able to stay healthy. Your health (both mental and physical) is my number one priority. I will help you achieve your aesthetic and strength goals as well, but not at the sacrifice of your health which is what fad diets and crash workouts do. I have a deep understanding of Kinesiology (the study of the acquisition of motor skills, the mechanical aspects of movement, and the body's responses to physical activity) as I graduated with a bachelors of science with honors at the University of Michigan, as well as a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning  Specialist, and Certified Prenatal/Postpartum.
