A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Michigan, I always knew I had a passion for helping others in terms of their health. I found my path through studying Kinesiology at the University of Michigan where I gained a high understanding of how our complex body works. For fun, I took all the nutrition class offered to undergrads as well as studied a bit of music. I grew up playing both tennis and volleyball (libero) and try to play volleyball in my free time. I absolutely love strength training and called "tiny but mighty" by my friends as I am just shy of 5'3" yet can squat and deadlift double my weight. My love of playing sports and strength training led me to attain the highly sought after CSCS certification. I started personal training in 2017 and have a wide variety of experience training beginners, people going through rehab/iniury, all the way to the collegiate level. I currently only do online as my spouse is in the military so we move around.
I have a border collie named Mylo who you'll get to meet when we train as he's always by my side. I am a major foodie (I center my vacations around food) so you can also use me for food recommendations in addition to training. Mental health is also a passion of mine. In 2019, I created and hosted a mental health event on my campus. Since then I've tried to put on another mental health event but the pandemic and logistics of moving have made it a little difficult. However, I will continue to make an impact in the mental health community regardless of where I am.
